for ding-dongs like me who need clarification: that's Z as in ZEBRA to Shoot Fireballs, and is also the key to run.
Jumping into bricks does not kill enemies above as small Mario.
jumping seems one pixel off (especially pipes and walls...)
i think a circle was used for mario's feet collision which is why he seems to slide off
